FIRE DRILL THEFT

Someone entered three classrooms and stole the wallet from each teacher’s purse during a Nov. 26 fire drill at P.S. 158, Bayard Taylor School. Cops said there were no signs of forced entry in the school, at 1458 York Ave. and East 78th Street. After the 1:30 p.m. drill, the credit cards were each used in three separate incidences, where the thief charged large sums of money at various retailers. The thief charged $337.56 at Coldwater Creek, a women’s clothing store; $584.51 at Tip Top Shoes; $247 at the Children’s Place, a children’s clothing store; $968.56 at Toys ‘R’ Us; and $113.72 at a Duane Reade. One card, however, was declined at a Loehmann’s department store.
