Brick Oven Burglary

East Side Brick Oven Pizza, at 1159 Third Ave. between East 67th and 68th streets, was burglarized April 26. Cops said the intruder forced open a sliding glass window to gain entry. The burglar also broke the glass display case, but nothing was stolen.

Broken Windows

A man was shoved through a glass window April 28 after an altercation. The 35-year-old victim, from Brooklyn, was arguing with someone in front of 1143 Second Ave. and East 61st Street at 12:10 a.m. Police said the Brooklyn man was being uncooperative with his attacker, refusing to state what the dispute was about. So the attacker pushed him and he fell into a glass window, which shattered. The victim was treated at New York Hospital and released.

Parking Problems

Two men got into a fight about parking on East 64th Street between First and Second avenues. Police said that April 27 at 11:20 a.m., the two men were arguing when one pushed the other to the ground and said, “That’s what you get.” The assaulted man refused medical attention. There was no arrest.

More Missing Motorcycles

A 43-year-old man who lives on East 83rd Street reported that his motorcycle was stolen April 22. The owner told police he chained his black 2008 Suzuki motorcycle to a metal pole on the northeast corner of First Avenue and East 83rd Street at 7:30 p.m. When he returned the next day at 1 p.m., the motorcycle was missing and had not been towed.

Stolen Identity

A 57-year-old woman was a victim of identity theft. The woman, who lives on East 85th Street, reported to police April 23 that someone had opened an HSBC credit card in her name earlier in the month. She never received a card, but was sent a $1,890 bill.

Pick-Pocketed on Train

A 49-year-old woman was pick-pocketed April 26 on the Lexington Avenue line at East 60th Street. Around 2:45 p.m., she realized her wallet was missing, and rushed out of the train to cancel her cards. The thief tried to use her debit card but was blocked from taking money. Her wallet also contained $140 cash.

Road Rage Leads to Fight

A man was assaulted Dec. 17 following a traffic dispute. The 30-year-old Queens man said that at 7 p.m. that day, another car tried to weave around him. When the other car pulled up to the northeast corner of Lexington Avenue and East 46th Street, the driver started cursing at the Queens man. Both men got out of their cars and the Queens man was punched in the face, cops said.

Apartment Burglarized

A woman told police that her home was broken into Dec. 20. The victim reportedly left open the front door to her apartment, on East 52nd Street and Second Avenue. Items stolen included a $1,500 laptop, $400 iPod and $150 cash, according to cops.

Pricey Goods Robbed

A man said his apartment was burglarized while he was at work Dec. 22. Upon returning to his home on East 46th Street and Second Avenue, the 27-year-old victim noticed several items missing, police said. The stolen goods included a $150 watch, $800 laptop, $300 camera and a $400 silver necklace. Cops said there was no forced entry, but the kitchen window was open.
