A 35 year-old woman is dead after a Dec. 14 fall from an UES high-rise condo, where she lived with her husband and two young children.

Police told Straus News that Alina Page was found by first responders at around 6:45 p.m. She was splayed on the concrete in front of The Brittany, a 36-story luxury apartment building located near Gracie Mansion at 1775 York Avenue. Police said that her injuries were consistent with a fall from “an elevated surface,” although they initially could not determine which floor the young woman had fallen from. EMS workers rushed her to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

According to the New York Post, a fight had occurred between Paige and her husband Brian Paige shortly before the incident. Her husband said that he was not home at the time of the fall, however. He added that “she was the love of my life, my soulmate.”

Police have ruled out foul play so far. The Pages were reportedly eleven days away from their 16th wedding anniversary.

Page’s death is the second suspected suicide to occur on the UES in recent weeks. On November 13, a 47 year-old man plunged from the 16th floor of another luxury apartment building, this one located on East End Ave. and 81st St.

Another likely suicide occurred in Central Park around Dec. 11, with police discovering a 36 year-old with stab wounds–in a playground–near E. 62nd St. and Central Drive. He had a bloody knife in his pocket.
